"A characterization that contradicts Riyadh's position and the efforts of the United Nations."

"The Iranian position in defining Saudi Arabia's position in the peace process has become contradictory to the map of the UN envoy to Yemen, and Riyadh asserts that it is a mediator and not a party to the war."

The Islamic Republic of Iran said it supports Yemeni negotiations (represented by the Houthi group) on one side and Saudi Arabia on the other, in the first statements following a US strike in the Red Sea, targeting boats belonging to Iranian proxies, which left ten-armed elements dead, according to what the Houthis confirmed in Sanaa last night.

The UN envoy to Yemen, Hans Grundberg, has confirmed that he will work with the Yemeni parties at the current stage to develop a roadmap under the auspices of the United Nations that includes these commitments and supports their implementation.

Grundberg explained that Yemen's UN-sponsored roadmap will include, among other elements, the parties' commitment to implement a nationwide ceasefire, pay all public sector salaries, resume oil exports, open roads in Taiz and other parts of Yemen, and continue to ease restrictions on Sana'a airport and Hodeida port. The roadmap will also include implementation mechanisms and prepare for a Yemeni-led political process under the auspices of the United Nations, he said.

The Iranian news agency IRNA said that Ansar Allah spokesman, whom it described as Yemen's chief negotiator, Mohammad Abdul Salam, held consultations Monday in Tehran with Ali Asghar Khaji, senior adviser to the foreign minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran for special political affairs.

According to the official Iranian agency, the Iranian official welcomed what he described as the progress made in the progress of the Yemeni peace negotiations, announcing Tehran's readiness to help advance this process, in a new description that the negotiations will be between the Houthis as a Yemeni party and Saudi Arabia as the leader of the Arab military coalition.

This "Iranian position in defining Saudi Arabia's position in the peace process has become contradictory to the map of the UN envoy to Yemen, and Riyadh's assertion that it is a mediator and not a party to the war."

The Iranian statements came a day after the Houthi group announced the death and loss of ten of its members, during the process of targeting cargo ships in the waters of the Red Sea, and the United States of America had previously confirmed that it had sunk three naval boats in the waters of the Red Sea, while trying to intercept a cargo ship.

Iranian media reported on Monday that the destroyer Alborz, part of the 94th Group of the Iranian Army Navy, entered the Red Sea through the Bab al-Mandab Strait.

Iran's Mehr news agency reported that the destroyer was equipped with long-range naval cruise missiles. The agency reported on its account on the "X" platform that the combat destroyer and the military ship "Bushehr" are approaching the Red Sea to settle near the Bab al-Mandab Strait.

The Yemeni group "Ansar Allah" announced on Sunday that "the US enemy forces attacked 3 boats, killing 10 Yemeni naval forces."
